I’ve been writing stories since I was a kid — first with a tape recorder, then with pen and paper for the stage and camera.

I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in economics, and was a staff writer and columnist for the Daily Nexus,  I moved to Los Angeles to begin my professional training which included: UCLA’s Master Class in screenwriting with Lew Hunter, two tours of Robert McKee’s Story Structure Intensive, the Howard Fine Acting Studio, production courses at the American Film Institute, and honing conceptual skills at the Ad Center with top creative directors.

As creative director for Transamerica’s in-house agency, I created Dreams – a national TV campaign featuring professional golfer and Masters’ Champ Zach Johnson. I also led Kaiser Permanente’s brand copywriting team developing digital, print, and video content.

My comedy, The Crime of Danny Segal, has been produced in Los Angeles and New York, and I directed my second play Dinner At Grandpa’s. My screenplay,The Oinkaroo, was awarded a coveted Quarterfinalist spot in the Nicholl Fellowship Competition.

Pursuing a passion, I created more than 50 mini-documentaries for VineStories,a wine education website providing a direct voice for winemakers across Oregon, Washington and California to share their philosophy and insights about their craft.

Leveraging my experience working with large organizations, I enjoy working with in-house marketing teams to provide them with a consistent, reliable resource for developing digital, print, and video content.

I currently live in Portland, Oregon, have a passion for wine, enjoy using an umbrella, and am an avid sports fan.  I also enjoy writing STAGE PLAYS AND SCREENPLAYS and have been fortunate to have my plays produced in both Los Angeles and new york.
